This course is for Healthcare Professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, and paramedics, as well as other who need Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course completion card for job or other requirements.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support emphasizes the importance of Basic Life Support CPR to patient survival, the integration of effective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions, and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation. Simulated clinical scenarios encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students will practice essential skills individually, as part of a team, and as a team leader.

This course relfects the new science from the 2015 American Heart Association Guidlines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care. This is a web-based, self-paced instructional program that uses eSimulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in a virtual healthcare setting. Debriefings and coaching are provided immediately after each simulation to facilitate learning about basic and advanced life support.

Key science changes include:
* New CPR sequence
* Continued empasis on high quality CPR
* and the use of continuous waveform camnography to monitor CRP and detect ROSC

These above new science changes are demonstated in 10 interactive scenarios:
* One BLS case
* Seven cases representing cardiovascular, respiratory, and stroke emergencies
* Two Megacodes

Also reviwed during this Online session:
* Knowledge and application of EKG recognition and pharmacology
* Team dynamics
* Effective Team Leader skills
* Treating virtual patients with current ACLS algorithms
* Videos that summarize critical concepts
* Debriefings and coaching after each simulation
* Hyperlinks referencing sections of the ACLS provider manual

A multiple choice test containing 50 questions is also performed online. See Part 3 below regarding written test.

This Online course enables students to take the class at their own pace and more importantly at their own schedule. With that said this course is not any shorter by any means. Part 1 can take a considerable amount of time - depending on the students study habits and time allowances.

Successful completion of the full ACLS course includes 3 parts:
Part 1 - Successful completion of the HeartCode ACLS online portion
Part 2 - Hands on skills practice at our office (15-30 minutes)
Part 3 - Skills test at our office (15-30 minutes including a written test)

Your ACLS Providers card (or eCard) will be issued after successful completion of all 3 parts. After Part 1, you have 60 days to complete Part 2 and Part 3 (these parts are completed the same day).

This is a HANDS-ON course and not an online course. This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. You will leave confident in your skills and certified for a period of two years through the American Heart Association.

Our AHA instructors are also Full-Time Firefighter/Paramedic's that will bring real world experience to your training.

This is the most common kind of BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification needed by Healthcare Workers. Required for working in the healthcare industry such as a hospital, clinic, nursing home, assisted living facility or any healthcare setting.

This BRAND NEW course from the American Heart Association has been updated to reflect new science based on the 2015 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC.

Students will learn single-rescuer and team basic life support for adults, children and infants through 5 interactive exercises, scenarios and a written test. Navigation controls allow students to move easily through content as they learn how to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilation and provide early use of an AED. Course also teaches relief of choking.

This self-paced course is accessible anytime from any computer. Students can access the BLS for Healthcare Providers Student Manual, BLS Pocket Reference Card and more for 24 months.

This course may be used for initial or renewal BLS for Healthcare Providers Course completion.

This is a well-rounded course for the layperson as well as the fitness instructor, teacher, coach, scout leader, factory worker or childcare professional.  We will provide you with a barrier device for training purposes.

This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in First Aid, CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.

This is a well-rounded course for the layperson as well as the fitness instructor, teacher, and childcare professional. Adult, Child and Infant CPR/AED/FIRST AID, and Choking will be included. 

You will also be learning how to deal with a wide variety of medical emergencies. These would include how to deal with heart attacks, diabetic emergencies, stroke, shock, trauma, environmental emercencies and more.You will know how to handle many difficult situations at your workplace, in public, or at home and you will complete all hands on skills sessions In Person.

The First Aid course video is emailed directly from the American Heart Association upon completion of your in person session. You may complete this online in the comfort of your home and/or workplace and at your leisure as this may be viewed in segments or all at once.
