ACLS is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. In this course, skills are taught in large, group sessions and small, group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented.

• Key changes in advanced cardiovascular life support, reflecting
the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care

• Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions,
use of a bag-mask device and use of an (AED)

• Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest

• Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia
• Airway management
• Related pharmacology
• Management of acute coronary syndromes (ACS) and stroke
• Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team
• Effective Resuscitation Team Dynamics

 

Initial Provider Course requires approximately 8 hours to complete, including skills practice and skills testing.

 

Upon successful course completion, including demonstration of skills competency in all learning stations and passing the CPR and AED skills test, bag-mask ventilation skills test, a Megacode test and a written test, students receive an ACLS course completion card, valid for two years.

This continuing education activity is approved by the American Heart Association, an organization accredited by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS), for 12.00 Advanced CEHs, activity number 11-AMHA-F2-0119.

 

 

 

 

This is a HANDS-ON course and not an online course. This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. You will leave confident in your skills and certified for a period of two years through the American Heart Association.

Our AHA instructors are also Full-Time Firefighter/Paramedic's that will bring real world experience to your training.

This is the most common kind of BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification needed by Healthcare Workers. Required for working in the healthcare industry such as a hospital, clinic, nursing home, assisted living facility or any healthcare setting. 

  • Critical concepts of high-quality CPR

  • 1-Rescuer CPR and AED for adult, child and infant
  • 2-Rescuer CPR and AED for adult, child and infant
  • Differences between adult, child and infant rescue techniques
  • Bag-mask techniques for adult, child and infant

  • Relief of choking for adult, child and infant
  • CPR with an advanced airway*

 

You will receive a Two Year certification e-card. Approx. 3 Hr. Class.

 

 

This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.
 
This is a well-rounded course for the layperson as well as the fitness instructor, teacher, coach, scout leader, factory worker or childcare professional.  We will provide you with a barrier device for training purposes.
 
This is not a class for HEALTHCARE WORKERS. Please sign-up for the BLS Healthcare Provider CPR course if you are in the healthcare industry and need the BLS certification.

As a student, you will leave this class feeling confident that you will know how to handle many difficult situations at your workplace, in public, or at home.

The AHA K-12 course completion card is offered to K-12 students, faculty, staff, teachers, coaches, assistants and employees of a K-12 school system. Please specify if you work in a K-12 setting.

You will receive an American Heart Association e-card valid for two years.

These would include how to deal with heart attacks, diabetic emergencies, stroke, shock, trauma, environmental emercencies and more. As a student, you will complete this class feeling confident. You will know how to handle many difficult situations at your workplace, in public, or at home and you will complete all hands on skills sessions in person. The First Aid video portion of training may be completed online in the comfort of your home and/or workplace.
